Nanny Job in Burlington, Ontario

A young family in Burlington is looking for a Nanny / Household Manager to care for their two young children (3 years and 9 mo), friendly cat, and home. This is a live-out childcare focused position requiring general household management in addition to the care of the children. The successful candidate must have experience with caring for and educating children, be an experienced driver with a car, and have strong organizational skills. Primary Responsibilities • Expert childcare, including all caregiving responsibilities (i.e. activities, meals, laundry, tidying, inventory) • Scheduling and Calendar Management • Travel planning and packing • Laundry assistance (i.e. washing, folding, and organizing clothes, bedding, and linens) • Pet care (cat) • Light cleaning (regular cleaning service comes to the home) • Trash and recycling management Job Requirements • Experience working in a private residence or similar role • Experience working as a nanny and/or relevant qualifications • Fluent in English, both verbal and written • Trustworthy and flexible with a can-do attitude • Willing to maintain high levels of privacy • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada (No sponsorship) • Must have a current CPR & First aid certificate or willing to obtain/update them • Must have a current Police Check • Must provide a minimum of 1 professional and 2 personal references Hours will be finalized at time of hire, but expected to be Monday to Friday, starting between 7:30am and 8am and ending between 5:30pm and 6:30pm.
