Nanny Job in East York, Ontario

Hello, we are looking for a full time, live out nanny for our 2.5 year old daughter starting in December 2022 or January 2023. Our daughter is usually in pre-school, but we would like to keep her out for the winter as we are welcoming a newborn in early December. This is a short term engagement as we would like to send our daughter back to daycare by March or April. Services And Training: We are looking for someone who can engage with our sweet and curious daughter. This is a child-focused role where your main responsibility will be to keep the 2.5 year old engaged and learning. Duties include: reading and playing together, neighbourhood walks and outdoor play, preparing and feeding snacks and lunch. Our child loves making music, art, and playing outside. We have arts materials, musical instruments, and toys, a backyard, and there are a handful of great parks and playgrounds within a 5-10 min walk from our house. There are no pets in the home. One or both parents will be home. We are 5x vaccinated and looking for a caregiver who takes covid, flu, and illness in general very seriously. Education or childcare background is an asset. Sponsorship is not available. References a must. Additional Availability: Hours are 9-5 M-F, but we can be flexible for the right candidate. Offering $23/hour.
