Hello, we are the Scott Family. We are a family of four who are passionate about having fun and living life to the fullest. Our attitude towards life is very laid back. We enjoy outdoor play, health, fitness, picnics, new experiences and travel. Between work, school and recreational activities we have a very busy schedule. We are looking for someone who can join in on the fun, and help facilitate our household. What kind of tasks can you expect in our household? running general errands grocery shopping coordinating travel coordinating events (birthdays etc) making appointments for the family healthy/balanced meal prep - and lunches for the kids Pick-up children from school Occasionally taking kids to the parks, beaches and day trips, (hikes, museum, etc). Sometimes just one child. organizing and tidying (scheduling deep cleaners ) car organizing ( taking to service, and keeping tidy) limited landscaping setting up systems to help the house run smoothly. (i.e. grocery lists ) Possible travel (within Canada and Outside of Canada) We are really looking for someone to join our family and help keep things organized, and running smoothly. Daily tasks are not laid out, so being self directed is very important. Being able to see what is needed and executing on it. It's more about getting into the groove and making it even more fun. Necessary skills required: experience with kids and general knowledge of child development organization time management Adaptability and creativity driven self-sufficient responsible confidentiality a good driver (haha) clear communicator patient and understanding Ideal schedule: We are looking for help primarily weekday afternoons for 4-5 hrs/day plus date night once a week. Flexible for the right person making this the perfect opportunity for a student (maybe in ECE or nutrition/culinary? hehe) or someone who works part time! Wage is tbd, depending on experience A little about our family: Mom and Dad- priorities are the children of course, while maintaining a professional life as well. We are "go with the flow" people. The majority of our spare time outside of work is focused on our children. We coach their sports, and try to offer them every experience we can. We love having the kids outdoors. We are adventurous travelers and love to have fun, while also focusing on health and wellness. We would like your help reaching our life goals. Children- We have two wonderful boys. Maxim (7) and Hendrix (5)! (Yes, like Jimmy!). They are both very adventurous and full of life. The boys love playing outdoors, In the summer we will often go to the beach daily for picnics. We have several parks very close by so daily trips to the parks are a regular. The boys love to do Crafts and Create (lego). The boys currently attend the same elementary school Monday - Friday. *Initial interview/conversation will be held by our current House Facilitator, Juniper who has been with us for 2 years.
