Nanny Job in Vancouver, British Columbia

Are you an experienced and caring nanny looking for your next role? We’re two families located at UBC in Vancouver, British Columbia and we are seeking a responsible individual to care for our two kids - aged 12 months and 16 months in a nanny-share arrangement on a full-time live-out basis starting in July. The ideal candidate has experience with kids aged 1 - 2, has current certification in CPR/first aid, and is capable of providing attentive care in a nurturing environment. Note: We will pay for CPR/first aid training for the right candidate, if not already completed. Light housekeeping and meal preparation is required (mostly cleaning up after activities and meals). Our little ones love playing with water, singing, reading, and observing everything they can about the world. They enjoy being outside and have taken swimming lessons together previously. They enjoy semi-structured activities in our local neighbourhood (e.g., community centre) and going on outings (e.g., library, play gym). Both are gaining skills towards being independently mobile and we expect they’ll be excited to use those skills very soon. The successful candidate is organized, reliable, and able to maintain a clean and tidy living space. They must be ok with cats. We offer $30 hourly, pay is via direct deposit twice monthly. Our families are located within two blocks of each other and conveniently within walking distance of the 25, 33, 49, and R4 bus stops.
