Nanny Job in Squamish, British Columbia

Hi there! Our family lives in Squamish, BC and are looking for a caring and reliable live-out nanny for our soon to be one year old daughter, Ava. We are seeking someone who already lives and can work in Canada. Timing and location: care at our home (Sea and Sky complex) beginning in early 2024 when I return to work, but we can be flexible with an earlier or later start date for you depending on the right fit. We’re looking for someone who is available between 3-4 days a week (Tuesdays to Thursdays plus 1 to 2 Fridays a month). Start times would be between 8:00-8:30am and end between 3-4pm depending on the weekday. Responsibilities: We would need help with some light housekeeping duties such as tidying up after Ava and meal preparation for her. We would prefer someone who enjoys taking Ava out for nature walks, story time and share in fun experiences without screen time. It would be an added bonus if you have your own vehicle and are comfortable with a dog in the house. Our Ideal Candidate: responsible, reliable, and has experience with babies, valid CPR or basic first aid (we are willing to pay for the course if needed) and is fully-vaccinated and eligible to work in Canada. Background check is also required. Remuneration: Hourly wage will be between $20 and $25 depending on credentials and experience. Looking forward to meeting you!
