Nanny Job in Chelsea, Quebec

A family in Chelsea, Quebec, looking for an experienced nanny to help take care of a 1.5 year old, 3.5 year old and a school aged child. 30 hours per week available and $17-$20/hr based on experience. The job requires someone who is responsible and able to take initiative. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable with housekeeping, meal preparation, pet care, and first-aid/CPR. Job Duties: • Keep children’s areas neat and tidy • Caring for 2 children under 4 and at times a third child aged 5 • Laundry may be required • Transport children to and from activities • Meal prep for children and family • Care for dog (filling food and water bowls) • May include additional household tasks (cleaning, cooking, housekeeping, laundry) • Take care of children’s daily needs, diaper changes etc. • Meet physical, emotional, social and intellectual needs of children • Provide a safe, nurturing, stimulation environment for children to thrive and develop Skills: • Candidate must enjoy spending time with children. • Candidate must hold a valid drivers license. • Candidate must have experience (5-10 years) working with children or in a related field. Not mandatory but preference will go to candidates who have experience teaching young children.
