Nanny Job in Oakville, Ontario

START DATE is ASAP We’re looking for a mature female nanny with experience caring for an infant and who can efficiently help me around the house. We are located in South East Oakville and have a 5 year old girl, 3 year old boy and a 4 month old baby girl. The two big kids are in school full time so the child care is primarily for the baby but I would need help with all 3 children at times. I am on maternity leave and my husband works outside of the home. We will guarantee 12 hours/week at a minimum (i.e two 6 hour day shifts) up to 25 hours/week. Ideally this person can take on some additional hours for occasional weekend and evening support. Should this person be able to start asap we have a family cottage in Muskoka and would be interested in that person coming up with us this summer. Not a requirement but a bonus. Wage is negotiable. Duties: -helping me around the house (laundry, tidying up, meal prep, getting dinner ready, grocery shopping) -caring for baby when I step out of the home -ability to babysit all 3 children at times -flexibility for weekend babysitting Interested in the following: -Police Check (vulnerable sector) -Canadian Red Cross First aid CPR training -ECE OR working towards a degree in child care/education would be a bonus ! -Minimum 1 year experience working as a nanny -Valid driver’s license with clean driver’s record in the last 5 years -Willingness to spend time outdoors with the kids and engage in meaningful play - absolutely no smoking, guests or pets brought into the home
