Nanny Job in Salt Spring Island, British Columbia

Hello! We are a young family with a 3-year old and a 17 month old. We live on beautiful Salt Spring Island, BC. We are looking to hire a part-time or full-time nanny. The nanny would typically only be with one child at a time, only occasionally both at the same time. The hours would be ~25 - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (it's flexible for the right candidate!). General child care duties expected such as playing, outings, lunch prep, snacks, nap times, etc. A playful spirit is a must, as our 3 year old loves pretend play. Only light housekeeping and errands would be appreciated. First Aid certification is a must (we are happy to pay for this). A basic understanding of child development and confident management of toddler behaviours are essential attributes. Training in early childhood education is a bonus, and we would pay more for this.
