*position filled thank you!* We are seeking a reliable and proactive individual to join our household as a Mother's Helper. This part-time position involves assisting with household tasks and providing occasional childcare support. I (the mother) will spend most of the time with the kids and take care of most of their needs, with some of your support, but mainly-I would need someone to support in household tasks for when I have to focus my energy on my part time work. We have a 3 year old girl and a 1 year old boy. Our house is 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and is located in Dunbar. The role requires someone who is organized, attentive and comfortable with a variety of domestic responsibilities. Responsibilities: 1. Perform general housekeeping duties, including daily cleaning, laundry (washing, folding, putting clothes away), organizing to maintain a tidy home environment. 2. Perform meal planning, preparation and cooking for the family. 3. Provide occasional childcare support, including supervision and engagement with children, and occasionally prepping activities. 4. Occasional special projects including but not limited to: specific cleaning and organizational tasks, shopping for seasonal clothes for the children, bringing items to donation and assisting with selling items on marketplace 5. Run various errands, such as grocery shopping or picking up essentials (we are steps away from Dunbar village). 6. Available to work 3 (or more) times a week based on agreed-upon hours. Requirements: 1. Previous experience in housekeeping and childcare is preferred. 2. Capable cooking skills or willingness to develop same 3. Strong organizational and time management skills. 4. Ability to handle occasional childcare responsibilities with patience, care and attention (eg: being comfortable feeding the children, helping children go down for a nap, changing occasional diapers, assisting with potty training) 5. Good communication skills and a positive attitude. 6. Ability to adapt to the family's needs and schedule changes. 7. Criminal record check if we move forward. 8. CPR training preferred but not required. Other details: 1. When: 3 (or more) times a week, schedule to be determined 2.
