Nanny Job in Cranbrook, British Columbia

Hi there my name is Claire. We are a family of 4; myself, my husband, and 2 daughters. We also have a friendly dog so pet allergies cannot be an issue. We are looking for a full time, live-out, Nanny/Baby-sitter. I work shift work at the hospital so hours required will be fluid. My schedule is consistent though, so hours needed will be known well in advance. However, I don’t work any night shifts, so the latest you’ll be required is for bedtime. We currently live with my Mom while our home is being built, so you are free to leave at bedtime as she will be here once the kids are sleeping. We're located between Jim Smith and New Lake area, just on the outskirts of town. Must have's: - Experience with young children - Fun loving and kind - A love for the outdoors/active - Warm and creative demeanour - Patient personality. We believe in taking the time to get down on our children’s level and talking/cuddling though tough times, while maintaining loving boundaries. - References - Reliable vehicle - Additional child training/education/CPR/First Aid is an asset - Able to take direction and flow into our family dynamic/routine willingly and effortlessly - Must be able to come to our home Our eldest daughter is 4, and our youngest will be 18 months when I return to work July 7. Our eldest daughter will be starting Kindergarten in September (late birthday), so the days will be spent with our younger daughter, and the eldest joining after school hours on the days I’m unable to be there. School pick-up can be juggled with my Mom. She is a relaxed, loving Grandma, but is unable to help out full time due to health issues/age. We have currently had the two of them on daycare waitlists for over 2 years. This job is temporary until our younger daughter gets into a daycare (which I’m told will happen with where she is on the list), and our oldest daughter gets into an after school program. However, if it’s a great match and there is no need to end our contract, this could be a permanent position if the candidate is looking for that. Start date: July 7 - September 2022 with opportunities to meet and babysit before hand if interested/available.
