Nanny Job in Nanaimo, British Columbia

We're a busy family in Nanaimo looking for a warm, reliable sitter to join us weekday afternoons. Our sweet 2-year-old daughter comes home from daycare around 4 PM and we need an extra set of loving hands while we wind down the day. If you enjoy spending time with toddlers and don't mind a lively household complete with a dog, we'd love to hear from you! What you'll be doing: 1. Supervise and engage our toddler: Play, read, and keep her happy while a parent preps dinner 2. Walk the dog when we really need a helping hand. 3. Bath time: Help with her evening bath routine 4. Dinner cleanup: Light tidying after dinner — dishes and wiping down Schedules: Regular hours: Mon–Fri · 4:00–8:00 PM Weekend availability: Occasional · a few hours as needed Approx. hours/week: ~20 hrs (weekdays) weekends What we're looking for - Experience caring for toddlers (professional or personal) - Comfortable with dogs - Punctual, patient, and genuinely fond of kids - CPR/first aid certification & ECE if possible We offer a competitive wage of $20 per hour and negotiable based on experience.
