Nanny Job in North Vancouver, British Columbia

We are a fun, outdoor-loving, active family of 4 looking for a new nanny (ours is heading back to school!) to start August 20th. The hours are 7:30 - 5:00 Monday-Friday (sometimes 4:30...depends on the traffic on the cut!). We have 2 boys, Oliver, aged 4 (stays at home) and Rory, aged 5 (going into Grade 1). You will be responsible for taking the older one to school and then looking after the younger one during the day. Library time, Strong-start, and lots of activities outside will occupy your day. You will also be in charge of meal-prep (snacks and lunches for the boys and family dinner for us) however; recipes (and ingredients!) will be provided. There will be light-cleaning duties during our son's rest hour as well. We are a no TV, no screen-time family so you will need to know how to keep the boys amused with trips to the park, games, crafts, music etc. We live right across from the trails and would love the trails to be a natural part of your week. Our neighbourhood is super-friendly with tons of kids so the boys will be asked for play-dates and we would ask you to host them as well. Because I work in education and have great holidays, you will be given 4 weeks holiday (2 weeks paid and 2 weeks banked hours) during the year, but they must be taken over Christmas (Dec. 25-Jan. 5) and spring-break (Mar. 19- Apr. 2). Experience is a must!
