Nanny Job in North Vancouver, British Columbia

We are a family living in North Vancouver, British Columbia in search of a full-time, live out nanny to care for our one-year old infant. We also have a sweet 2-year old mid-sized goldendoodle dog, who is hypoallergenic and low maintenance. We are looking for a nanny to stay with us long-term and become a part of our growing family. My husband and I are both busy professionals, so we are also looking for someone who is available full time from Monday to Friday (approximately 8am to 5pm) and is able to working some overtime hours and babysit on occasional evenings and weekends. We are looking for someone with experience in infant and toddler care, light housekeeping duties, light meal preparation, light pet care, and with First Aid and CPR certifications. The right candidate will be reliable, patient and attentive, and caring with our son, and will provide social, community and educational activities for him, including indoor and outdoor playtime. We offer a competitive rate based on experience, plus a transit pass, and the opportunity to join our family. We are looking for a nanny to start in January, 2024. We live in the beautiful West Lynn area in North Vancouver, with a large mall, grocery store, library, cafes, bakeries, etc. right across the street. We also have various playgrounds and walking trails nearby, and live a 10 minute walk away from Karen Magnussen Community Recreation Centre, which has various kids programs available. We believe in open and honest communication, organization and structure, and kindness when it comes to our relationship with our nanny. We also believe in fair compensation, vacation and work life for our nanny, as we know that this is essential for our nanny to feel valued and happy as part of our family.
