Nanny Job in Ottawa, Ontario

We are looking for a nanny for our 6 month old son to start end of August. We are located near Carlingwood mall in the west end of Ottawa. We would like a minimum commitment of 8 months. Duties include: 1. Childcare o Providing ongoing safety and constant supervision o Attending to personal hygiene as required o Positive behavior management to encourage proper growth and development of the child o Absolutely no physical discipline o Lots of affection and friendliness, encouragement, and patience o Learning and exploring, with both mental and physical stimulation. 2. Food preparation o Daily food preparation for the child o Food preparation (chopping, cooking etc.) for the family if time permits 3. Daily light housework o Tidying general living areas and child’s room o Loading and unloading of dishwasher o Folding and doing laundry (child is in cloth diapers, so laundry is done every 3 days) 4. Petcare o Occasionally taking our dog for a walk o Occasionally feeding our dog her meals
