Nanny Job in Nanaimo, British Columbia

Are you an experienced nanny seeking a longer-term (1-3 year) opportunity to care for a very easygoing and delightful 9-month old (girl) in our clean and welcoming home? We are moving to Upper Lantzville in May and looking for a full- or part-time (20-35 hours weekly, negotiable) nanny to care for our daughter in our clean and inviting home. Your schedule and hours are negotiable but must be consistent and start date is flexible (May 14 onward). We offer a competitive pay rate for the right candidate. Note: I will work from my home office during the day - which is not on the same floor or near the living space, so will also be home but will leave you alone. The ideal candidate must have a solid background in childcare with infants/toddlers. Duties will include feeding, changing diapers, engaging in developmentally appropriate activities, tidying afterwards, and ensuring the overall well-being of our little one. We value someone who is kind, gentle, reliable, and can create a safe and stimulating environment for sweet little baby. Getting outside, adventures, and creative activities are a must. Must be OK with a friendly dog. If you are keen to do dog walks and light house cleaning and/or meal prep it is certainly an asset.
