Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

We are looking for a nanny to start as soon as possible. We are about to be a family of 5! I have an almost 4-year old who is going into JK, a 1.5 year old daughter and about to give birth to a son. We are looking for someone who can help out while I am home on maternity leave and take charge when I go back to work. We need help with the morning prep of getting breakfast cleaned up and lunch packed for my eldest. Most of your morning would then be dedicated to my 1.5 year old, taking her out to the park/playdates, feeding her lunch and bringing her home for nap. While she naps there would be some light housework: mainly tidying and helping out with laundry. We try to stick to a solid routine and schedule with our toddler, so someone who can follow that would be great. What we are looking for: - Strong work ethic and takes initiative on tasks, doesnt wait to be asked to do something - Comfortable taking direction - Loves children and is always present when with them (ie not on the phone) - Creates boundaries for children and helps to foster their independence - Work Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm - Ability to travel with us is a bonus - There is an option to live-in or have flexibility to stay over if there is a special reason Tasks May Include: - Laundry - Tidying. light housekeeping (we have a cleaner 2x a week for deep cleaning) - Meals - Errands such as picking up a few items from the grocery store - Drop off/pick up of toddler - Watching infant while I care for toddler What you will get: - A loving home - Respectful employer - Above average compensation - Above average time off
