Description Mature House Manager/Nanny needed for couple expecting a baby girl in late February. Looking for an organized and caring individual prepared to commit to a long term position. The role will be mostly hands on to start with more admin responsibilities with time. The scope of household responsibilities is extremely broad and will require the efficient management of supporting staff and services. Figuring out how to modify house services and processes in response to constantly changing household needs will be critical. Both hands on work, as well as management of staff will be important. The Family’s primary home is in Guelph, Ontario, but travel to Florida during the winter months as well as general travel with the family is required for the role (travel costs and accommodations provided). Responsibilities (to be completed with staff support as needed) • Cooking/Cleaning o Household cleaning o Laundry o Cooking • Childcare o Arranging babysitters o Changing o Feeding o General care and support • Pet Care o General pet care (dog and cat) o Corresponding with pet sitter • Transportation o Providing/Scheduling transportation • Household Admin o Personal appointment scheduling o Research, planning, and pricing for household goods and services o Create household manuals and best practices o Household resource management (expand/reduce/modify household staff and processes as household needs change over time) • Household Maintenance o Maintaining household inventories o Schedule and manage household services (cleaners, laundry, baby/pet sitters, etc.) o Work with landscapers to maintain and update home exterior o Work with handyman and contractors for home maintenance • Bookkeeping and Accounting o Managing payments for household services and staff o Keeping and organizing of household receipts o Maintaining monthly ledger of household costs with line-item expenses o Scheduling and holding monthly meeting to review household budgets and processes Requirements: • Mature individual interested in long term role • Travel to Florida for winter months (travel/accommodation provided). General travel. • Willingness to adapt as family needs change over time • Highly organized with strong communication skills • 40-hour work week • Some flexibility in terms of hours will be required (within reason) Qualifications • 5 years nanny/cleaning experience (Required) • CPR/First Aid (Required) • Experience in house management role is an asset • Experience in a medical/personal care role is an asset • Post secondary education is an asset Compensation: • $75,000 –... per year • Yearly CPI-based cost of living increase • Laptop/Phone/Data/Internet provided
