Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

I'm Miranda, and I am seeking a caregiver for my nephew who is 5 and on the Autism Spectrum. I am seeking a caregiver on behalf of his grandmother (my mom) who islocated in Toronto, Ontario. We're looking to hire a full-time, live-out nanny to care for our child. The hours per week would vary between 30-40 (6-8 hours per day) for the duration of the summer. Hours would transition to 4 hours/weekdays on school nights and 6-8 hours Saturday and/or Sunday in the fall. We are seeking a caregiver immediately. Our ideal nanny would have some experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum, or other special needs children or an interest in doing so. Tasks would include: - spending time with and supervising - helping to prepare snacks and meals for child - taking child outside and to park - helping toilet (child is potty trained for number 1, working on it for number 2) - someone with energy for play Our child is Level 2 ASD and considered non-verbal, and is generally a very happy guy. He enjoys running outside, playing in the water, bouncing on the trampoline, numbers, letters and Sesame Street. We're offering a competitive rate of $20.00-$35 per hour, depending on level of experience and references available.
