Nanny Job in York, Ontario

We are a busy family in Toronto, Ontario looking for a reliable and experienced part-time nanny to help out with picking up and caring for our son after school until we return home from work. We will need assistance with light housekeeping (helping to keep child’s items tidy, placing soiled items in the laundry, etc), basic meal preparation for a young child (no dietary restrictions), and CPR certification. Ideally, we are looking to support someone who is pursuing or has recently completed training in a related feel (ECE, CYW, etc). We are committed to offering a fair wage that will be negotiated with the caregiver based on level of experience, training, education, and transportation needs. There may also be an opportunity for additional work hours on weekends, school holidays, and over the summer, if it works for you and your schedule. I am an educator with a dynamic disability who also teaches disabled students and may be working remotely for 3 or more days per week. I am hoping to find support with childcare and household responsibilities while also providing support, guidance, and connections for new or aspiring educators who need help building their resume and gaining references, especially if you are currently looking to upgrade your credentials or need to re-certify to work in Ontario after emigrating from elsewhere.
