We are seeking a dedicated and warm-hearted babysitter to provide on-demand care for our 18-month-old child, particularly when they are too ill for daycare, as well as other times as needed. The ideal candidate will be someone who possesses a deep love for children, is patient, and actively engages our child in activities that foster learning and development. Responsibilities: Provide a nurturing and safe environment, especially during times of illness. Engage the child in educational play and developmental activities. Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks, taking into account dietary needs. Maintain the child’s routine, including naps, playtime, and mealtimes. Keep parents informed about the child’s day, especially during health-related incidents. Requirements: Experience in childcare, with a focus on caring for sick children, and references from past families. Ability to adhere to the family’s childcare philosophies and routines. Flexible availability, including some evenings, weekends, and when the child is sick and out of daycare. Nice-to-Haves: Current or upcoming First Aid and CPR certification. Familiarity with the developmental milestones of toddlers and experience managing common childhood illnesses. Qualities: A warm, patient, and nurturing personality. Reliability and consistent punctuality. Creativity in coming up with fun and educational activities. Strong verbal communication skills for effective interaction with both the child and parents.
