We are looking for someone that could help our son. He is 2 years and 8 months and doesn’t speak yet. He has been diagnosed autism level 1-2 (mainly because of his speaking and communication). We are looking for a part time nanny that have the experience with Autism/non verbal toddler and will be able to help him improve his speaking and communication. He is attending daycare full time since he is 14 months. He is very well adapted. He loves going there. He is a lovely child, athletic, very happy, non aggressive, gentle, he hums his favourite songs, he communicates a lot with us but it is non verbal, lot of gestures and sounds. ***The main task of the nanny will be to spend time with him, play with him, feed him, care for him, read to him and create engaging activities tailored to him ( indoor/ outdoor)*** We Preferred : Early childhood educator (ECE) CPR Background check speak English Experience with Toddler Someone who loves caring for children and teaching children. Experieced with children special needs. very responsible and get along with children easily. References/Credentials/Resume/ criminal checks available upon request. Best if : specialize in children with special needs (Autism) OR certified Behaviour Interventionist/ABA-IBI therapist, OR speech therapist PS: mom and dad will always be present in the home as they both partially work from home.
