We’re on the lookout for a full-time childcare superstar (live out) to hang out with our awesome duo – a bubbly 1-year-old champ and a cool 6-year-old dude in the vibrant SW of Calgary, starting in April 2024. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, school drop-offs and pick-ups, shuttling to and from extracurriculars, imparting wisdom in the ways of manners, curating a safe and super loving environment, plus adding your magic touch to light housekeeping and cooking up breakfasts, lunches, and snacks. Languages - English Education • Post-secondary education • Alberta Childcare Certification – LEVEL 1 EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR • First Aid Experience Minimum 1 year of direct child care or care aid related experience Work setting • Employer's home • Work in employer's/client's home Job duties • Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties - Kids laundry and change bedding, clean/organize kids’ bathroom, playroom, bedrooms - Dinner preparations • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development - General hygiene (teeth brushing, hair, getting dressed, bathing as needed) - Put infant down for naps • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home • Organize, activities such as games and outings for children • Prepare and serve nutritious meals -Prepare breakfast, lunch and snacks for children • Supervise and care for children • School drop-off/pick-up • Tend to emotional well-being of children • Have fun with kids!
