Nanny Job in Kelowna, British Columbia

We are looking for someone to help us at the beginning and/or end of the day starting June 8 to December 31, 2022, or any part of that stretch. Our boys are aged 3 and 5.5 years old and have full time care, but because of our excessively long work hours, we are looking for help to get them off and home from the day. This would involve helping them get dressed (and changing diapers for our youngest), feeding them, cleaning up after their meals, and ideally light kid-related laundry. Ideal shifts that would work for us are 7-10am (3-5 days per week) and/or 3-6 pm (3-5 days per week) but we can be flexible on the exact schedule. We do have one bike camp booked for the week of July 11-15 where ideally you’d spend the whole morning with both boys before dropping them off at two different day cares. We'd like someone that has their driver's license and ideally own vehicle to help transport our munchkins. They must be able to work independently and be self directed. We will provide car seats. You must be a very safe driver! Experience in child care is an asset, but not essential. Love of children is essential. Our oldest has adhd (inattentive type) so patience is a necessity! The wage will depend on the successful applicant's experience, but we will start at $18/hr at a minimum and any mileage involved in transporting our children. More per hour if the person is live out.
