Nanny Job in Chilliwack, British Columbia

My husband and I are currently looking for a part time nanny for our two young children, approximately 20-40 hours per week. We have a 10 year old girl in grade 5 and a 5 year old little boy who is just getting ready to start Kindergarten in September. I am a nurse and my husband works in construction so when we are working we keep long hours and traditional child care does not work for our family. I work full time shift work and have 12 hour days that rotate through the week. Generally my husband is home weekends with the little ones but the odd weekend might be needed from time to time. I also have the benefit of being able to provide my schedule for the year. We are a relaxed and fun family that love being active and so do our children. Our daughter is outgoing and very social, She loves school and her friends as well as exploring the outdoors, reading, dancing, singing and doing crafts. Our little guy is known for his smile and his easy going nature and both our kids are very affectionate. We would be looking for someone who can blend into our family is warm and friendly and can also provide structure and consistency for our children when we are away from the home. We would need our care giver to do school drop off/pick ups, meal prep for the kiddos and some light house work. We would love to hear from you if you think this might be the job for you.
