Hi there, our names are Perry and Nav. We are currently looking for a nanny who can work a minimum of 4 days a week. Job start: April 2024 Job details: As a nanny for our baby, your primary responsibility will be to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the child. You will work closely with the parents to ensure the well-being and development of the baby. This role requires patience, adaptability, and a genuine love for toddlers. Your sole focus will be our baby! You will not be responsible for regular household cleaning, chores, etc. Responsibilities: Childcare and Safety: Create a safe and secure environment for toddler. Monitor the toddler's activities and ensure their safety at all times. Handle feeding, diapering, and dressing the toddler appropriately. Administer any necessary medications under parental guidance. Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper hygiene practices. Development and Stimulation: Engage in age-appropriate play and activities to stimulate the toddler's development. Read books, sing songs, and engage in creative and educational activities. Foster language and social skills development through interaction and conversation. Encourage sensory exploration and motor skill development through supervised play. Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open and regular communication with the parents to understand their expectations and preferences. Provide updates on the baby's activities, behavior, and developmental milestones. Collaborate with the parents on any changes or adjustments to the baby's routine or care. Household Duties: Maintain cleanliness and organization in common areas used by the toddler Requirements: Previous experience working as a nanny or in a related childcare role such as daycare, preferably with toddlers. Knowledge of baby care, including feeding, diapering, and sleep routines. Familiarity with safety protocols for infants and ability to handle emergencies calmly. Ability to engage in age-appropriate play and activities to support the baby's development. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with parents. Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for children. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Ability to adapt to changing schedules and needs. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain it). Clear background check and references. We will provide training with our current nanny.
