Nanny Job in Burnaby, British Columbia

Nanny and Mother's helper A working couple in South Burnaby (Edmonds area) seeks a short-term, part-time (~30h/week) nanny to provide care to a lovely 10-month old baby girl. The baby’s parents work full-time from home and are looking for support during the work-week with care-giving (from home). The expected hours of work are 9:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday. Both parents have been active care-givers to the baby. Thus the nanny is expected to work closely with both parents. Both parents are expected to be available and involved during the day. The nanny’s services are required from June to mid-August. The parents expect the nanny to be COVID-safe and expect the candidate to take reasonable precautions as mandated by BC’s Provincial Health Officer in their daily life. The nanny’s duties are expected to include: Changing diapers Feeding the baby Engaging in fun and educational activities with the baby Light house-keeping - load/unload dishwasher, fold family laundry, vaccuming of floors. We live in a small 2-bedroom condo. Nanny's duties would be divided between 5h childcare and 1h of light house-keeping.
