Nanny Job in Caledon, Ontario

Location: Rural Caledon, Ontario Hours: 8 Hours a Day / 5 Days a Week / Shifts to be scheduled (in advance) Start Date: To Be Discussed on Approval Our family is in need of a caring and trustworthy care-giver to live-in and to care for our 2.5 year old daughter, 8 month old son and expecting an infant in 4 months. You must have pediatric care experience and be nurturing and loving. Light housekeeping and meal-prep may be requested. The ideal candidate will be a pediatric nurse or similar professional nurse looking to either relocate or established their nursing credentials in Ontario are most preferable. Relocation assistance for qualified nursing applicant may be available. We welcome College of Nurses of Ontario Applicants to apply. Ideal Candidate: Creative, fun, and passionate about children • Excellent communicator – Second language(s) is an absolute asset • Nurturing, caring, responsible and loving is a must • Ideal applicant may be a tenured RN with “pediatric, CCU, ICU, ER, EMERG, or other tenured specialty nursing experience abroad. • Ability to create and maintain a safe environment for the children is absolute • Always able and prepared to go above and beyond to put the children's needs first Requirements: • Tenured RN registration from “back home” a must • Proof of application for registration with College of Nurses of Ontario an asset • First Aid & CPR an advantage • Criminal record check (a must) • Satisfactory & compelling references of professional child care experience an absolute asset • Minimum of 2 child care references About us: We are a mature successful professional married couple living in a convenient spacious rural north GTA location. Our family has lived in Canada for over 3 generations, with a cultural heritage originating from Punjab. Our first language is English however Punjabi is spoken/taught in our household.
