Nanny Job in Oakbank, Manitoba

Hi, we are Dave and Cristina. Our family of 4 live in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood, in a growing town 10 mins outside of Winnipeg, Manitoba. We're looking for a nanny with experience to care for our girls, ages 6 and 8 (turning 9 soon). I am a part time shift worker and will be taking some courses. My husband travels for work. I am open to both full and part-time arrangements. Ideally, I am looking for someone live-in while my husband is away and live-out when he is home but OPEN TO DIFFERENT ARRANGEMENTS meaning live-out only arrangements can be made if it works better for you. A separate room and bathroom will be available to you if live-in works for you. We are looking for someone who is prompt, reliable, takes initiative and values open communication and feedback; someone who is able to take care of the girls independently either for support while at home or while I'm out. Also, someone who is energetic and willing to engage in different types of play/activities with the girls. Requirements: - Experience with children/references - Fluent in English - First Aid and CPR certified and updated - Criminal Record Check - Adult and Child Abuse Registry Check - Active driver's license with a clean driver's abstract - Able to drive the children safely to and from appointments, extracurricular activities, run errands and as needed. (A vehicle will be provided when required) - Take the girls to and from the bus stop, cook meals prep school lunches, help with homework, be willing to take care of sick children, provide light housekeeping and be able to do any other tasks that come up. - Non-smoker and should be in good health. - A Canadian citizen and/or already legally able to work in Canada Assets: - Able to swim - Possess own vehicle - Post secondary education - Speak French and/or Tagalog About our girls: Our girls are in grades 1 and 4. They are active, energetic, fun loving and eager to learn. They love travelling and learning about different cultures. They love spending time outdoors, swimming, bike riding, gymnastics and art.
