Nanny Job in Whitby, Ontario

Hello Nannies, We\'ve had this profile up for a while but have waivered at times as to whether we were going to hire a nanny. Well, the time is definitely here so please don\'t hesitate to answer this ad if you see yourself as the right fit:) We are looking to hire a loving, reliable and energetic nanny for part-time hours in our home in Whitby. To commence as soon as possible. Light housekeeping, laundry and possible meal preparation required. Flexibility is a must as we will require 2-3 days per week but schedule is always changing each week. (24 hours/week) (Position is LIVE-OUT, and not willing to sponsor.) Our number one priority is love towards our kids. Hugs are plentiful here! Treat them as they were your own. Important is an enriched, play-based learning environment for our kids. We encourage you to apply if you enjoy getting on their level and being a big kid too. Our 3 year old is quite bright and needs to be set to task with crafts and \'homework\'. She loves practicing phonics, art projects, word games etc. We love nature and so do our kids. Our perfect nanny will enjoy taking the children to the park nearby, going on nature walks to collect \'treasures\' and simply being outside in the fresh air. We would like someone to be able to drive them to playgroups, preschool programs, zoo outings for example. Housekeeping will be light. The only absolute requirement is the laundry and picking up (along with the kids help) all the toys and kiddie messes at the end of the day. My daughter will be starting school in September. Once she starts, part of the day will include walking her to her busstop in the morning and waiting for her at the end of the day. These days would be a little lighter as our son naps for 2 hours min so a bit more housekeeping duties will be asked of you. We need someone who is willing to care for our kids the way we do and take care of the home the way we do.
