Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

We are an Upper Beaches family looking for daytime help for our creative and enthusiastic 6 year old who cannot be in her kindergarten classroom for the next few months. We are looking for a reliable caregiver with an interest in childcare AND education, as we need someone who will help her to continue her preparation for Grade 1. The ideal candidate is someone who is or has a degree in early childhood education or teaching. Hours would be 9 am to 1 pm, Monday to Friday (with some flexibility). I work from home, so willingness to do daytime excursions to parks, ravines, etc. is important. Additional tasks may include folding a little laundry, preparing lunch for our daughter, light errands, tidying toys, etc.. We have two older children (9 yrs and 10 yrs) who are in full-time school. We are looking for someone with lots of energy and a caring and gentle, but firm, demeanour. Immediate start date.
