Nanny Job in Mississauga, Ontario

Hello - we are looking for childcare help for our young family. We have a 3-year-old and a 9-month-old; both attend daycare, with the 3-year-old to begin kindergarten next September. My husband and I are both professionals, working between downtown Toronto and remotely from our home in Mississauga. While our kids are well taken care of at daycare, we are looking for additional childcare support from mid-afternoon to 6pm daily. Duties will include: pick-up from school/daycare, caring for the children (and arranging activities/games/etc), assisting with meal prep, light housework (tidying, laundry), as well with help at bath/bedtime on some days as required. Additional hours for evening or weekends would be on an as-needed basis, such as to provide additional support when one parent is travelling on business or for weekend/evening babysitting from time to time. Requirements: a drivers’ license and your own vehicle is required (for school pickup - we will provide car seats), first-aid/CPR certifications, proof of background/vulnerable sectors check. An ECE background would be an asset. We also have a large, loveable dog (no pet care is required, but you would need to be comfortable with dogs!)
