Title of position In-Home Caregiver (NOC – 4411) Job duties Supervise an care for children in our home Bathe, dress and feed children Prepare meals, and snacks Light housekeeping duties (empty dishwasher, wipe down counter where children eat, clean up after meals) Oversee children’s activities, such as meals, crafts, playing, walks Maintain a safe and healthy environment in home Tend to the emotional well being of children and support their social development (occasional play dates) Take children to and from school or pre-school activities Terms of employment (project-based, permanent position and such) 12 month term term, full-time (37.5 hours per week) Expected Employment Start Date: April 1st, 2023 Wage $31k/year (this corresponds to approx. $16.00/hour, 37.5 hour week, 52 weeks, and as such is higher than the median for Kitchener-Waterloo for this occupation) 10 days paid vacation days per year.
