Dear candidate, If you love a busy, rustic lifestyle that involves horses and goats, and plenty of outdoor time, you may be the perfect fit for my little family. I am seeking a live in caregiver to improve the quality of my family time and day-day-life, by providing childcare and domestic support. Looking for a 'positive-vibed' energetic individual with a proactive mindset who has strong communication skills, is dedicated to routine, structure, and consistency; but can make experiences fun and educational for my two daughters, ages 5 and 7. Willingness and enthusiasm to take the children outdoors will be essential, as will First Aid certification (or willingness to acquire), proven time management skills and flexibility. Additional to childcare tasks, duties will include light meal preparations, housekeeping and laundry tasks, errand running and shopping tasks. Strongly desired qualifications include completion of or enrollment in a childhood education program, a valid driver’s license with willingness to escort children, and proven skills in organization, time management and housekeeping. If you have a strong interest in animals, we can also explore training you to help with horse and goat care, and possibly explore teaching you how to ride. I am a school teacher who has recently undergone a career transition. I am well-positioned to introduce you to rural Canada and orientate you to our language and culture.
