Nanny Job in Bowen Island, British Columbia

Hi! We are Stef and Erica, a married couple who have a 3 year old daughter, Maya, and a goldendoodle named Elsie. We live on Bowen Island, which small community close to nature and also only a 20 minute ferry ride from West Vancouver. We are looking for a warm, calm and caring person who is interested in jointing our family and providing care for Maya while we are working, and also willing to do some meal preparation. Maya is active, curious, and creative. She loves drawing, looking for worms in the garden, exploring the beach, and showing you everything she finds! We work in the fields of ecology and sustainability, and our work hours are Mon-Fri during the day. Maya has some pre-school care and so we are looking for someone to help on the other days and late afternoons. This is a live-in position. We have a private space to offer. It is attached to our home, but separate from the main living space, and has everything one needs. We usually rent out the space and it’s quite popular, but we are happy to offer it to the person caring for Maya. The hourly wage ranges $20-25 depending on experience. We are looking for someone who can start in September.
