Nanny Job in North Vancouver, British Columbia

We practice Montessori-based communication style and Reggio-like outdoor play with our 2 daughters. We listen closely, eye-to-eye contact and have a no-screen policy. We validate their feelings constantly, and use positive redirection. We want a nanny who does not use her phone while working for us. We want a nanny who is very ‘present’ and adores being with children. We’re looking for half day coverage for our 17 month old a couple of times a week. She’s happy, giggly, active, and loves animals, other children, books, music, and exploring. If you speak another language, including Japanese or French, it is a bonus! My husband and I are in our thirties. We met in Montreal and love living in North Van now. We enjoy the outdoors, music, reading, art, gardening, hiking, climbing. We love community and understand for foreigners and visitors how tough it can be to integrate in this city. We like sharing our world with our children’s caregivers.
