Nanny Job in Calgary, Alberta

SCHEDULE & DUTIES WEEKDAYS Morning routine Packing lunch School drop off Light house work Free time 8:30 am - 4:00 pm (with some light house work thrown in) School pick up Dinner prep Bedtime routine Meal prep: The majority of our groceries are delivered, and I am looking for someone who can plan an prepare healthy meals and keep the fridge somewhat stocked with leftovers. We are a gluten free home. WEEKENDS (because Olive is in a nature-based program during the week, weekends are pretty easy-going) Occasional activity drop-off Activity planning/supervision Meal prep etc. ABOUT US I am a solo, full-time mama and registered midwife looking for a live-in nanny for my 5 year old daughter, Olive. I work a 10days on/ 10days off schedule, and Olive attends nature school 5 days a week. Most importantly, I am looking for someone who can live-in, and help us with mornings and after school (including drop offs and pick ups) and weekends, when I am on call. I am also happy to offer full-time accommodations in our home for a nanny who would want to live with us full-time and be available every other week to help with Olive. I am not opposed to someone who would like to take on other flexible day-time work while Olive is in school during the day. Because of the unpredictable nature of my work, and the possibility of being called at any hour, I need someone who can stay with us through the nights when I am on call, and carry on our routine if I am called away for extended periods of time. Often, I am home even when I am on-call, waiting for babies :) We live in a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home in the city's north-west near the University and a couple blocks from Nose Hill Park. We have a lovely yard and garden and a cat named Indie. Our home is a scent-free and (mostly) screen-free home. I am looking for someone who will align with my parenting philosophy. I strive to maintain a positive-parenting home where Olive is provided structure and boundaries, and allowed to have big feelings and supported as she learns how to regulate her little kid emotions :) Overall, she is a very well-adjusted, kind, caring, and empathetic kid who is happy and subscribes to our motto that "teamwork makes the dream work." I am looking for someone is is self-motivated and able to handle a little unpredictability in my schedule and help maintain predictability in Olive's. AVAILABILITY One week on, one week off (~2 weeks per month) ~6 hours x 7 days per week Must be able to stay over night. Flexible days
