Nanny Job in Nanaimo, British Columbia

Looking for a part-time caregiver to start as soon as possible in North Nanaimo (Hammond Bay area). This is a permanent long-term position. You will be caring for my son, who is 3 years old. Your responsibilities: To offer safe, nurturing, and stimulating care. Engage with age-appropriate educational and entertaining activities. Actively participate in conversation and play to enhance communication and socialization. Job Details: Hours are 9a-5p. 2 days a week – specific days are flexible and can be arranged in advance. Hourly rate is competitive. Vacation, sick days and annual pay increases are offered. Qualifications: Non-Smoker. Fluently speak/read/write English. Comfortable around big dogs. Able to keep up with a physically active 3-year-old. Vaccinated for COVID-19. Valid certification in Emergency Childcare First Aid and CPR. Valid Criminal Record Check.
