Nanny Job in Leduc, Alberta

Hi There! We are looking for a live-out Nanny to take care of our 5 month-old baby girl, as well as our 6 year old son in our home. Our 6 year old is currently in full time Kindergarten and in the summer will be going to sport camps most weeks so it will mainly be for our 5 month old! Location: We are located in Leduc (South of Edmonton just past the airport) What we are looking for: Ideally someone who is patient, kind, loving and easy going. We are looking for someone who has experience with newborns and can focus all their attention on our baby. We would like someone who can organize developmentally appropriate activities as she grows, do a lot of reading, exploring both inside and outside, and allow for independent (supervised) play. We live near a couple of parks and have a big back yard that backs onto a walking path. Minor preparation of meals will be required as she grows and when our son is in the home. Neither of our kids have allergies or medical concerns. Very light tidying would be of great help (ex. washing of bottles, spoons and bowls) and light housekeeping (laundry/dishes) while she naps. Will also need to be comfortable with changing diapers. We need someone who is mature and loving to care for our children. Ideally we are looking for someone who: - Has experience with children, and specifically babies (references will be needed) - Non-smoker - Has a vehicle and comfortable driving Our work situation: Currently, one parent (Mom) is returning back to work part-time and spouse (Dad) will also be returning back to work and works out of town on shift work. Hours/shift: Monday 8:15 AM - 1:30 PM Tuesday 1:45 PM - 7:00 PM Wednesday OFF Thursday 11:45 AM - 5:30 PM Friday 1:45 PM - 7:00 PM Saturday 8:15 AM - 1:30 PM **Mom also owns her own business and is very busy, so if our potential new nanny wanted more hours helping run errands or even working at her work location, that can also be arranged! We will provide the schedule in advance so you can plan your days accordingly. We would really like to find someone who blends well into our busy life/family but who's main attention and priority will be on our infant daughter.
