Are you an experienced and compassionate caregiver with a knack for managing energetic kids? Look no further! We're seeking a reliable and engaging nanny to join our family on the North-end of Edmonton. Position: Part-Time Nanny Location: North-end of Edmonton Start Date: May 6th, 2024 (with potential trial period in April) About Us: We're a family of six, including four wonderful children aged 9, 8, 6, and 4. With a pre-determined schedule in hand, we require childcare on weekdays, excluding statutory holidays. Our setup revolves around my wife's steady schedule as a paramedic, working on a 4-day on/4-day off rotation. As such, your services will be needed anywhere from 2 to 4 days per week, with the schedule locked in for the next year. What You'll Do: Pick up 3 children from school and care until 5 PM (a short 5min walk away) Care for one child throughout the whole day Work from 8 AM to 5 PM on required days Maintain reliable transportation to our residence Demonstrate experience with children of similar ages Comfortably coexist with our 2 large friendly dogs and 2 house cats Light housekeeping duties such as dishes and toy cleanup Prepare lunch and snacks for the children Provide an engaging, low-screen-time environment through outdoor play, crafts, games, and more Nice-to-Haves (But Not Required): Help with supper preparations Assistance with house cleaning Occasional dog walking Flexibility for evening/weekend shifts Our Ideal Candidate: We're looking for someone who not only meets our logistical needs but also shares our values of creating a nurturing environment for our children. Depending on your fit and experience, we're offering $18-$22 per hour, considering that much of the time will be spent with one child.
