Nanny Job in Cambridge, Ontario

We are looking for an occasional childcare provider for some evenings and weekend days. The ideal candidate will be responsible for our daughter (currently 10 months) with cerebral palsy. She is doing lots of physio/occupational therapy. We'd like help to ensure she is safe, engaged, and learning. We'd likely be around working on chores, running errands, having some time to exercise, etc. Experience with a child with cerebral palsy is not necessary. We will help you learn about how to best support our daughter. Our daughter is not cognitively affected, but has limited mobility. 👶 Key responsibilities: • Bottle feeding, along with cleanup as required • Manage the daily general necessities including but not limited to diaper changes, naptime schedules, baths, play schedules and outdoor activities/walks • Reading/singing to and engaging with child throughout the day • Light housekeeping and maintaining general tidiness of house • Maintain open and effective communication with parents 🗓️ Schedule: • Occasional evenings • Occasional weekend day time hours 📍 Location: South end of Cambridge, near Churchill Park 💕 Desired qualifications: • Must be reliable, warm-hearted, patient and energetic enough to engage with an infant • Dog-friendly; no petcare required but we do have a medium sized cockapoo (he is a cutie!) 🕰️ Job Type: Part-time, occasional 💵 Salary: $22.00-$25 per hour ❗️NOTE: If you message us, please do not use the default message - tell me a little about yourself and what type of role you are looking for, otherwise I may not respond.
