Nanny Job in Vancouver, British Columbia

Our family is looking for a friendly, energetic, full time, live out, caregiver with a valid drivers license, to care for our children as my husband is heading back to work after an extended leave to be at home. Over the last 11 years, we have had wonderful relationships with our caregivers and are still in touch with those who have helped our family. We live in Dunbar (on the West side of Vancouver) near West King Edward and Blenheim Street, very close to transit, parks and playgrounds, a community centre, library, biking trails, the beach, etc. We are an active and healthy family, are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys children, is a positive role model, happy to be active with the children, self-motivated and, when time permits, takes initiative to help out with other tasks around the house such as meal prep, tidying up and laundry. While we will usually need help Monday-Friday, some flexibility is required. Most of your time will be focused on caring for our almost 3 year old son. He will be in preschool 4 mornings per week starting in September, and still naps, our other children are in full day elementary school (which is 2 blocks away). Grandma lives close and helps out, especially with driving to and from sports, and both parents work in hybrid roles (a mix of in office and at home) and are hands-on parents who love to have fun with their kids. We have 4 children (2 girls, ages 11 and 9, and 2 boys, one is turning 6 in June and the youngest is turning 3 in July). We have quite a few summer camps lined up to help fill the Summer days, and one parent has more flexibility and some time off in the summer to help out. We are a kind, fun, active family and live in a great community. We would love to find a great fit so that our children can have fun days with someone who is friendly and positive to be around.
