Nanny Job in Vancouver, British Columbia

The role: We are currently looking for a full-time nanny to look after two girls of toddler age in a nanny share format, starting in January 2024. The details: Our wonderful nanny will be returning to school in January 2024, and so we are looking for someone with availability to start at the beginning of January. Both girls in the nanny share will be 18 months at that time and both families are located in the Kitsilano area (~5 min drive from one another). We currently rotate every couple weeks which household hosts between the two family homes, and would like to continue this schedule. We are looking for a full-time commitment of 40 hours/week. The compensation: · Competitive compensation, based on previous experience · 2 weeks’ paid vacation · All stat holidays off The qualifications/requirements: The primary requirement of the role is to care for the children, ensure their safety at all times, and engage them in age-appropriate activities throughout the day (ie. walks, plays at the park, arts and crafts, reading, games etc). In addition, they may have scheduled or one-time classes at a near-by club that is within walking distance of both houses. While we are not requesting cleaning services with this role, we do ask that the houses are kept tidy and children are cleaned up at the end of the day. We may ask that you meal prep for the children on some occasions as well. We are looking for the following qualifications: · Someone who is caring and passionate about working with young children. We have a strong preference for someone who has nanny share experience, or experience looking after more than one young child at a time · CPR/first-aid training · Live-out · English proficient · Vaccinated The families: Both sets of parents are working professionals, who enjoy the outdoors, keeping active, and spending time with our families. 3/4 of us were born and raised in Vancouver, while 1 grew up in the interior of BC.
