Nanny Job in Kamloops, British Columbia

I have two teenaged daughters, ages 13 and 16, who are mostly self-sufficient and independent but need a responsible adult to watch over them when I go out of town on business. For approximately 4 to 7 days each month I am required to travel. While the girls could probably look after themselves, the eldest girl has a mental illness that requires monitoring. She needs someone to remind her to take her medication and be supportive so that she doesn\'t feel anxious. Both girls are pleasant and cooperative and easy to take care of. The caregiver should be prepared to supervise cooking, run to the store to get supplies, and walk the dog (a German Shepherd). The girls can help with these activities, but an adult needs to be on hand in case help is needed. The care-giver\'s most important responsibilities will be to maintain a calm, supportive, relaxed environment and make sure schedules are followed and medicine is taken. Empathy for and understanding of mental illness/anxiety disorders would be an asset. The sixteen year-old has schizophrenia and needs to be reminded to take medication and needs to be monitored.
