Nanny Job in Vancouver, British Columbia

We are looking for a caring and responsible nanny to join our household starting June 1, 2022. We are a family of five, located in the Arbutus Ridge area of Vancouver, close to parks, the Arbutus Club, community centres and public transit. Mom is currently on maternity leave until August 2023 with two-month-old twins and dad works from a home office. Your primary responsibility will be caring for our happy, adventurous, and big-hearted 3-year-old son and engaging him in daily activities. Requirements: • Positive attitude • Active and willing to be outside every day. Rain or shine. • 3 years experience in childcare • Up-to-date Infant First Aid & CPR • Criminal Record Check • References • English Speaking • Non-smoker • Live out Job Specifics: • Guaranteed 35 hours per week with the possibility of additional hours as required. • Responsibilities include: o Engaging our son in play and learning activities. In particular, daily outings to the park, community centre activities, music classes & library time, taking appropriate precautions and following Provincial and Federal health recommendations with regards to COVID-19 and other potential health outbreaks. o Cleaning up after his meals and play time at home. o Most importantly, keeping him safe, healthy, and happy! o Provide care for twins while mom takes 3-year-old to activities or appointments on occasion. o Assisting with light household work including laundry and meal prep for the family, as time permits • Stroller will be provided. Drivers’ license not required.
