Nanny Job in Oakville, Ontario

Hi! We are a family of four living in southwest Oakville, and we hope to find a responsible, caring and engaging nanny start working with our family in September. We are looking for help 2-3 days a week between 10 am and 5 pm as a base schedule. There is possibility for full-time or we have the flexibility to keep this schedule part-time. We have a 3 year old son and 5 year old daughter. Our kids are sweet, talkative, and a lot of fun. They love playing at the park (walking distance from our home), running around the backyard, doing arts and crafts, building LEGO, and getting their hands dirty whether it's playing in the sandbox or helping in the kitchen with baking and cooking projects. A vehicle and clean driving record are required for this position. A typical day will involve picking up our 3 year old from pre-school at 11:30 am and organizing his lunch and some afternoon playtime activities. His 5 year old sister will then need to be picked up from school at 3:30. Other Responsibilities Organizing afternoon indoor and/or outdoor activities for our 3 year old at home and in the community (i.e. trips to the park or library) Preparing healthy lunches and snacks Light house keeping and meal prep assistance when time permits Caring for both children after school The ideal caregiver will have previous experience working with young children (pre-school and school aged).
