Nanny Job in Cobourg, Ontario

Seeking a nanny/ housekeeper, located in Cobourg. Not looking to sponsor at this time. Driver’s license required. Hours: 40 hrs/ week, salaried payroll position with sick time, 2 weeks paid vacation Salary: $40,000 annually Prefer live-out but live-in possible for the right candidate Loving family of 6 (children are 7, 6, 2 and infant) seeking a member of the family to support us in our busy lives. The majority of care in this position is for our 2 year old son while I am on maternity leave with our 9 month old. We have had a loving nanny for the last 1.5 years who is going on a maternity leave in Feb/ March. Looking for a person who has attention to detail, is flexible, positive, reliable, and self directed. Childcare duties vary but may include getting the big kids on/ off of the bus, planning daily activities and community outings with the 2 year old, preparing lunch/ snacks, folding and putting away children’s laundry and watering plants, tidying toys/ common spaces, brief supervision of the baby when required (I generally bring her with me wherever I go as she is breastfed). Care will include both little ones when I return to work in September 2024. Children are all on a consistent routine with naps and bed times. 2 year old is potty trained. Housekeeping is required for an on site upscale airbnb. Training will be provided, and includes cleaning, laundering, and restocking the airbnb space when guests check out. Childcare not required during airbnb cleans. We are a very tight knit family and we have an active presence in the care and discipline of our children. We believe in a collaborative team approach to raising 4 young children. Our children are well mannered and respectful, and they love our current nanny as an extension of our family. We also have 2 senior dogs. Hoping to find a person who can be an asset to our family and help us to balance a busy household 💛
