Nanny Job in Pitt Meadows, British Columbia

We are looking for a caring, responsible and energetic individual to care for our 5yo son, "C", before and after school. Approximate work hours would be 8:00 am, and then 2:30pm-5:30pm, Monday to Friday. You will be responsible for dropping him off and picking him up from school and spending time with him until mom and dad are done working. This might include going to the park, playing Lego, art, outings, accompanying him to extracurricular activities, etc. Other responsibilities may include light housekeeping, dinner prep and shopping. About C: he is energetic, intelligent, loves Minecraft, Sonic the Hedgehog, diagnosed with ADHD, anxiety and OCD. About us: we are a family of four, both parents work from home Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm. When we are not working, we enjoy camping, traveling, watching movies and being outside. Start: August/September 2021 Location: Pitt Meadows 15 hours per week, extra hours needed during Pro-D days or early school dismissals. Additional hours available upon request. Essential Criteria Responsible Reliable Experience in childcare First Aid Asset Criteria Drivers license and car Educational and/or work experience in early childhood development Experience working as an early childhood educator or Education Assistant Experience with neurodiverse children Experience working as behaviour consultant or interventionist
