Nanny Job in Fort St. John, British Columbia

Looking for a well rounded caring person to join our household, which includes a man and woman named Josh and Lauren ages 36 & 33, as well as two male children ages 9 & 11. The kids are only in the home half of the time (1 week on and 1 week off). The position will be called our house manager and the duties will include the following: 1. overall cleanliness and maintaining tidiness in the home - large brand new family home over 6000 square feet in size with 7 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms - house manager will have own area of home with private bedroom bathroom and living room area -laundry, weekly cleaning, daily tidiness, chores and misc. errands 2. oversight of meals - cooking of family meals and prep of lunches and snacks for family on daily basis. - exercise and nutrition is a daily part of our lives so healthy wholesome meals will be planned in advance. - grocery shopping on behalf of family for required ingredients will be necessary. - high end kitchen utensils and appliances will be available to house house manager 24/7 3. Transportation/ management of children’s activities - both children are active in competitive sports nearly year round and have several practices or games per week. - helping organize items/clothing/gear needed for sports or activities - driving kids to activities ensuring punctuality and timeliness. 4. Traveling with family and maintaining duties. - some (not all) vacations and travelling to other properties will require the inclusion of house manager with us. At times travelling with the children may be required to accompany them on flights etc to meet in different locations. *** Requirements** - drivers licensed valid in British Columbia - age between 25 - 50 years - able bodied for cooking/cleaning - ability to speak English
