Nanny Job in Revelstoke, British Columbia

Hi there - we are Donnelle and Will. We have a 2 year old daughter, Everly, and a 5 year old son, Hudson. We have had a nanny since our son was 2 years old and she will be moving on to new things at the end of August as our son is now going to Kindergarten in September! :) This position will be for our 2 year old daughter and then school pick up daily to then also have our son for the last two hours of each workday. We are looking for a nanny to provide the best level of care to keep our children safe and healthy while we are working. We have been absolutely blessed to have had a fantastic nanny for the last 3 years and we’re hopeful to be able to continue on for these next three years until our daughter goes to Kindergarten. Our hope is to have a nanny be able to come on with us for at least a year so there isn’t too much change in caregivers for the kids (Ie: we’re not looking for a short term candidate). The position would include all tasks that correlate to the kids’ care including tidying up after them during the day (within reason with children!), weekly grocery shop with the toddler on Monday mornings and daily dinner preparation - we have a standardized plan laid out that takes not too much time during toddler nap to prep :) We'd like the nanny to provide a stimulating environment in which the kids can thrive and develop - creative, educational, outdoor and social activities including swimming, gondola riding, equestrian park visiting, bike riding/scootering, e-biking with the chariot, participation in toddler classes and groups, but also leaving plenty of time for free play, preferably outdoor as much as possible. We have a separate above ground suite that we can provide accommodation for the right candidate.
