Hello, we are Sonya and James, based in Richmond Hill, Ontario. We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing, full-time live-in nanny to join our family and provide support to manage our household. We are a family of 4 - two kids (Boy 8, Girl 11). Our household values warmth, organization, and attentiveness, and we are searching for an individual who shares these values. The ideal candidate will contribute to the smooth running of our household through meal preparation, housekeeping, and maintaining a tidy environment. Responsibilities: - Prepare nutritious and well-balanced meals, including daily school lunches and snacks for the children, considering any dietary preferences or restrictions. - Prepare dinner for the family, consisting of two adults and two children, adhering to dietary preferences and restrictions. We will also provide a meal plan that is straightforward and easy to follow. - Oversee school drop-off and pick-up for younger child (school is 5 min walk from home). - Perform routine housekeeping duties, including but not limited to daily, weekly and monthly cleaning, routine tidying and organization of common areas. - Manage family laundry, including washing, folding, and putting away clothes and linens. - Maintain open and clear communication with parents regarding children's activities and raising any concerns or issues that may arise. - Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends as needed, with advance notice and mutual agreement. - Other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth functioning of the household and support our family's needs. Experience: - 2 or more years of experience in a similar capacity (references are required and will be verified) - Ability to prepare meals - proficient with oven, stove, air fryer, microwave, etc. - Fluent in English We are offering a competitive hourly rate of $18 to the right candidate. As a live-in, you will also receive the benefit of a dedicated, separate space in the home that includes: full kitchen, living room with TV, private bedroom with adjoining bathroom.
